Let the kids get creative in the kitchen this half term with this quick and easy pizza tortilla recipe.

TIME: 15 mins 
HEALTHY RATING: 7/10
IDEAL FOR: Children's meal / Lunch 

INGREDIENTS:

4 Flour tortillas
4 tbsp Tomato Puree/ Jar Pizza Sauce
250g Grated cheddar
1 x 125g mozzarella, drained and torn

EXTRAS: (Get creative and choose your favourite toppings) 
Pepperoni
Ham
Pineapple Chunks 
Mushrooms
Sausage 

METHOD

1. Place the tortillas on a large, clean work space and spread each tortilla with either a heaped tablespoon of tomato purée or the pizza sauce, pre-heat oven to 170°C

2. Add the mozzarella and chopped tomatoes and sprinkle with cheddar for a simple cheese and tomato pizza. The fun part is letting the kids create their pizza with their favourite toppings so have lots of bowls with various toppings to make it easier. 

3. Once the toppings have been created, season with salt and pepper (optional) and place on a pre-heated baking tray. Cook for 5-7 minutes , until the cheese has melted and the base is crispy.

4. Remove from the oven, and enjoy!
